After many years as a print designer, I transitioned into UX through the UX apprenticeship at the Nerdery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
My background in theatre has shaped who I am as a designer. I’ve learned how to apply my love of theatre to UX design. Collaboration, communication, and the ability to adapt are essential for a successful actor, as well as a successful designer. Using principles of theatre, I love helping people understand how to work better together as a team and for the clients we serve. I’m passionate about building relationships with people, mentoring, sharing learnings from my experiences, and creating clean, functional designs.
My roots are in the Land of 10,000 Lakes (Minnesota), but my wings have taken me here, and I now call Australia home. I enjoy sunshine, ocean waves, mountain air, beautiful skies, taking photos, hand lettering, dreaming up new adventures, good conversations, good friends, and good coffee.
